(i nostri limiti umani ci fermano...anche davanti a Dio non ci fidiamo della Sua parola e delle Sue promesse...abbiamo paura di venire fregati... ma bisogna avere fiducia perchè davanti ad una prova Dio ha promesso che quello che verrà sarà sempre il meglio...l'uomo, come Israele, è tentato nel credere che non uscirà mai più dal deserto...così fa per quarant'anni, voltandosi sempre alle spalle e rimpiangendo il passato...ma Dio ha parlato di una terra promessa...e terra promessa è stata...nel discorso della promessa rientrano quindi persino i periodi di sofferenza...infatti, se rileggiamo la nostra vita con gli occhi della fede, noteremo sicuramente che i grandi progetti e le meraviglie del Signore partono sempre da una sofferenza morale, fisica o spirituale)
